Humbug sign stolen from nativity scene

This lead story from CNN states that an atheist sign that appeared next to a nativity scene in Washington state has been found.

The sign, which was reported stolen from the legislative building in Olympia, read "At this season of the Winter Solstice, let reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven and hell. Only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds."

The Freedom of Religion Foundation has placed similar signs in other locations that have suffered minor vandalism.

One the most interesting things about the article, however, is the emphasis on free speech, both from the foundation and from government officials who faces large protests about the sign, but did not take steps to have it removed.
