Is pipeline prayer "normal American behavior," blogger asks

In today's Dallas Morning News, blogger Rod Dreher responds to requests for his opinion of Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin's request for prayer for a gas pipeline project. Dreher says he understands why some might find it odd, but that he thinks it qualifies as normal American behavior.
