Fashion choices of polygamist sect women analyzed

For the second fashion-related religion and media story in a week:

CNN has a story today discussing the dress and hairstyles worn by female members of the FDLS group from which children were taken recently. The article, which cites an anthropologist, a "polygamy expert," a "celebrity stylist" and the editor of glam.com Reasons for the dress that are cultural are given. Reasons that are religious are mentioned, but not explained, because of the anthropologist's desire to protect the beliefs of the group.
