Even televangelists can't escape taxes, troubles

South Georgia Televangelist Juanita Bynum has saved her $4-million plus Waycross property from tax sale by paying more than $30,000 in owed back taxes. This story in the Atlanta Constitution-Journal states that Bynum is hoping to use the property to build a spa for women seeking "pampering, prayer and spiritual guidance."

This comes in the midst of a messy divorce for Bynum from her husband, fellow televangelist Bishop Thomas Weeks III, who has been accused of assaulting Bynum in a hotel parking lot.
