Three strikes

The AP writes that former New York mayor and Time man of the year Rudy Giuliani may be unacceptable to evangelicals because of his marital history. Southern Baptist spokesperson Richard Land is quoted as saying Giuliani's second divorce was "divorce on steroids." In the same article, Land states that although candidate John McCain has been divorced, he accepts blame for the divorce. This makes it, in Land's words, "a molehill compared to Giuliani's mountain."
