Getting things rolling...

I gave my design students an assignment to create a logo for RMIG and got one paper that had Religion and Media Interest Group formed into the shape of a cross. In a sense, I shouldn't be so surprised at this, since I teach at a church-affiliated university (Baylor), but I am wondering what strategies you use to remind students to consider religious diversity, especially those of you at religiously affiliated schools?
